“Amazing sight to see! I was worried that in late May, most of the caves would be melted and not much to see. But we went through an amazing cave and hike through the glacier. Didn't quite need gloves or toques but hiking shoes helped. One person had running shoes and he managed fine since they gave out spikes for your shoes. Pricey for a whole family but definitely worth doing!”

“The whole tour is an adventure. To get there you are transported by super-jeep closure to glacier. The road is not really the road but it is extremely funny. The guide was local, so ut was more interesting to get more information about the life of local people. We highly recommend you to visit. It is worth of money - the whole tour took us close to 4 hours and most of the time you are spending in the glacier.”

Peter, our guide, was knowledgable about Icelandic geology and as the sky darkened, he was checking constantly for the Northern Lights so we didnt miss them.
