“We didn’t end up going on this activity- despite driving 3 hours just for this booking. It’s advertised as family friendly, but the level of experience needed and the gear required are for experienced climbers. Also they do require specific attire (boots, specific type of waterproof clothing) that was not clear to us beforehand. We had to rent some of this gear and when we decided not to go on the hike (about 10 minutes after we rented gear) we were not given a refund for the gear. The guide was unfriendly and started the orientation by telling the group “I’m not turning around for you if you’re cold.” Totally…”

“We were a bit worried when the weather wasn't looking great cold and rainy, but it turns out it had been so warm that our trip was cancelled for safety reasons. They were great about the process, and it turns out they were able to reschedule us on a later tour! The guides were great - funny, knowledgeable, knew where to take us on the glacier for the cool photos! We aren't big hikers and were worried that the 5 hr hike would be too much, but I think it was fine for us. We stopped a decent amount and went pretty slow since almost everyone was new to using…”
